According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA.ir – Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, in a meeting with a group of prominent Sudanese and Lebanese scholars said: The most important fact for us as Muslims is to keep unity among ourselves and we are trying to keep this unity by the help of Quranic and Islamic culture which are the only way to save the world.
"We should spread among the people in the world the fact that Islam is the religion of love and friendship. We should remember that the holly Quran explicitly commands us if non-Muslims don’t want to war with you treat them with love." In another part of his remarks he added.
"We have to announce to people around the world that blind violence and assassinations of terrorists group of Wahhabis don’t have any connection with Islam. We shouldn’t allow actions of a small group of ignorant spread anti-Muslim atmosphere in the world.
